There are 2 blue colours now available, Canvasite Blue and Diamond Silver? The deals available are better in September for the reasons I've explained but I can still do a decent deal for a factory order. You would need to take the car in December at the latest as the current support level (which s the strongest it's ever been on any AMG product) expires at year end and may or may not be available on Jan depending on stock levels/targets for next year...

Finally, it's also much easier, I really hate selling cars, the thought of driving to dealers to get a good price or inviting strangers to my home to kick the tyres of my car is not a good one. With leasing, some nice chap from the lease company will come and pick the car up at the end of the agreed period. Nice and easy

That is a very valid point and a very good reason to lease a car.

The figures don't add up if you look at a pre-reg or ex-demo, but if you want a brand new car and none of the hassle - leasing makes sense.

For me, I like owning my cars, cash. But that's me, I'm funny like that!

Why not,does he want to sell cars or not!!
If a dealer wants to sell me a car then he can ring me,if he doesn't I'll go elsewhere.
I recently emailed my local Mercedes dealer for a quote, 10 days later and a couple of "im sorry" type emails I'm still waiting!!
If the dealer treats me like this when they want my 40k then what would they be like once they have had it???
I haven't bothered replying to his last email as my business will go elsewhere.

I too have emailed Dave for a quote,why should I use my time out of work to ring him? If he doesnt want my business he wont bother replying,and I certainly wont waste my time ringing or emailing him again.

I agree Sweetmeister, if Dave wants my business and I am sure he does he will get back, if not I go elsewhere. I would have thought on a MB forum there would be a few more sensible people instead of Trunkies. And don't bother replying that person because I wont entertain you any further, just mind your own business theres a good lad.

Still reckon you should give bestmercdeals a call before you push the button and unclear as to why you think they're expensive. The 2 yr PCP Damian sourced me was excellent value IMO. Although they are broker I am dealing directly with the supplying dealer and very happy with the process thus far.

I have no affiliation by the way am just a (so far) happy customer who has appreciated their straight talking and open communication.

Yes,I will give them a try.Its just that when I clicked on your link it didnt take me to the offers page and the price I saw was around £800 a month!! I have now noticed the AMG offers page.

I put in my "why lease" post the words "if one can lower ones expectation a tad" I can lower my expectation and can get the 760 and SL55 in a theoretic C63 new budget. Whilst I accept some think a 8 year old SL and a 4 year old BM are not for them it is for me. Horses for courses.
Possibly being a SME owner in this climate is a factor as many myself included haven't earnt much in 3+ years but take whatever's left at year end in a lump - lease poor / cash rich scenario.

I would be looking at a pcp over 48 months with max £5k down. Standard spec car is all I would require.

Not sure you'll get a 48 month pcp but I may be wrong.
