C63 Extended range fuel tank..

Hello, can anyone give me info on this? Know the current size is 66ltr but what would be the larger size? Is it still available as an option? Been spending a lot of time viewing used C63 on the net and some have it and some don't. There is 2012 ex demo for sale at merc bristol with it. Cant see it as an option on the new build spec i am considering and even the local salesman is not sure. Any info appreciated.

Congratulations! I was in there yesterday trying to find out delivery dates, they are saying November but have been hopeless at getting back to me. If they can get a Sept/Oct delivery l am close to signing up! Do you have to confirm the final spec at order time - what colour/trim did you settle on?

Thanks Firthy! ...colour so far is palladium / black...i Do have time to change it if i decide different. Been swithering over iridium or pal.

I am wondering about Palladium/red. Its a tough choice because there just isn't that many appealing colours. I do like the white/black alloys and light trim as used in the press photos too.

Does that matter since they stay in the garage apart from coming out for "detailing" and the occasional trip to Bluewater.

Fuel is 40% dearer than in Oz but the c63 is half the cost. I'm happy Work pays the fuel anyhow.

The biggest single cost most of us bear is depreciation. Mine is a daily runner as well. A bigger tank would help as it feels like I am on first name terms with my local petrol station

Sounds like bullsh1t (the larger fuel tank rather than what Diesel and NW are saying, although that probably is too).

The C63 has a larger reserve than the regular 204, but that is it. It think it is just a case of sellers listing standard features...

The 4 and 6 cylinder engined W204 has a standard 59l fuel tank or the option to use the 66l higher capacity one instead.

The 8 cylinder engine has the higher capacity tank installed as standard HTH.

The V8 would be better with a tow bar - so it can tow a fuel bowser.
