C63 paranoid or not?

Hi all been paranoid about my headbolts for a while but yesterday i noticed the engine temp up to 3/4 or the gauge so not 120 not 80 100 i was only driving like miss daisy so bit concerned or is this normal? Not noticed it before will check coolant in the morning is the coolent and oil warnings dash warnings or not?. Got full mb warranty so not bothered just want them to sort it before it runs out cheers guys

Btw its a 58 plate 50k miles

They do run hot. At 50k I would say if any things going to fail it would've failed long before now. It was only the very early ones that suffered from head bolt issues.

Correct.

It's engine number based - the revised headbolts were introduced at engine number ending in 60658.

The engine number is on the V5 logbook.

Anyone got any more advice ? Got 6 months warranty remaining

Simple really, Take it to MSL or PCS and get them to check it for you if you're worried.

I presume some of this noise could also relate to the oil circulation or at least this can be the issue on cold starts.
