C63 remap flames?

If u want flames get a rocket. Cannot see the fascination.

Preferably one fired from a safe distance straight into one of the exhaust pipes

I've seen c63's mapped and totally decated spit flames. Only little ones tho. You'll never get decent flames without a turbo.

No turbos here my friend, I’d just fitted new throttle bodies and the new ecu was yet to be fully mapped, noticed it popped a little when lifting at a certain rev, didn’t realise the flame was there too.

Reduce the back pressure in the exhaust and more fule can passs through tobe ignited on the exhaust stroke.
I inadvertantly did this on a VW Beetle, decelerating into corners and a 1 meter flame and pop would keep following cars at a distance.
But that was a carburetor, i guess there would be a need to cause injector overfuelling nowadays, and the axhaust valves won't like it anyway.

It seemed like fun when I was 18, 40 years ago.
