C63 on 30/12/11
Hi all,

First post so apologies its a boring question but im about to order a C63 but losing sleep on which body style. Always loved the saloon as it looks slightly more agressive but the coupe looks good in white and is the newer car. Realise its personal but wondered if anyone had gone through similar?

cheers.

I have a saloon, not c63, and went and sat in the Coupe yesterday, my head was just brushing the roof in the back and I'm only 5'8" so consider that when making the decision.

Coupe for no other reason than it just looks so nice.

Saloon every time. The back doors make life easier, I'd always worry that someone trying to clamber into the back seats would damage something in the process - not damage themselves, that doesn't bother me so much - but damage the car, that would be unforgivable!!

If you don't need the rear seats then the coupe, ie no kids or very rarely take anyone in it.

For me the estate is the best, just looks right and far more useful.

Got no kids, very rarely anyone in the back, I went through this with the M3 concluding the saloon looks better. The dealer said 63 coupe is "pretty!" To me coupe looks good in white or black with black wheels, the saloon suits more colours. Not entirely convinced id value the extra sharpness of the coupe, my trips to the ring are half what they once were.

Also speccing LSD but not performance pack.

Thanks.

Depends on how tall you are! The roof on the coupe makes it feel a little cramped I think.

As it is a complete indulgence get the one you find prettiest.

coupes are for hairdressers:eek:

Good point, I'm 6'2" and i did feel cramped, doubt i could wear a helmet for TD's

The seats in the 63 coupe dont seem as supportive as the saloon

I like Palladium, anyone have a picture of facelift saloon in this with black wheels?

thanks.

Go the saloon, less niche market, more practical and ultimate stealth. Better seats too...

I like both but as been said, if you have a family and need the back seats then get the saloon, otherwise I would pick the coupe!

I was driven in one round the MB world track the other day and handles so so well and sounds amazing!

it's my next car, or the new SLK55:D:cool:

If you dont need 4 doors then personally I would have an RS5 or 911. I think the C63 coupe looks all wrong from the side unless you can afford the Black edition in which case it looks fantastic.
Estate C63 looks best if needing 4 doors.

trying to finalise deal on new black saloon BUT has red/black leather, car is for December and good deal to be had, not sure i can live with this leather combo though? anyone have it? any thoughts?

Looks ok I think
