Car Kit Install!!!

Whilst having my Nokia car kit installed the engineer discovered a speaker mounted above the passenger footwell which was connected to a box under the carpet in the passenger foot well.

Anyone know what this may be for?

Sounds like the leftovers from a fixed carphone kit - they used to have a speaker and a box of tricks

An after market kit, if you would read what is printed on the box, it would help a lot when guessing what is inside.
