They (e-sure) wouldnt allow me to be a named driver because I had a ban!!! I think it depends on the time of day you call or something...

Inusrers can be bizarre. A friend put his daughter on his insurance while she was learning to drive. When she passed her test the insurer refused to allow her as a named driver. The car was a small hatch. Bizarre.
