Hello everyone.

I have just bought a '54 plate ML270 CDI which has a MB Audio 10 CD unit in it.

It does not have a CD changer, but controls for one are on the Audio 10 CD.

I have bought a folding cradle bracket to mount a CD changer in the space in the rear offside of the vehicle.

I now need to know which CD changer is compatible with both the Audio 10 CD unit and the folding cradle bracket.

I also need to know if all the necessary leads are pre-installed (as I seem to recall mentioned in an earlier thread) or if I'm going to have to buy and install the connecting cables myself.

Any and all information would be very gratefully received.:D

The cables are not usually there unless someone has taken a cd changer out. Easy to find out, just look in that comparment for a fibre optic cable and another power cable that has a small 3 pin plug on the end.

The CD changers are specific to the ML AFAIK as they are smaller to be able to work with the bracket.

www.comand-online.co.uk will tell you all you need to know.

Thank you.

I couldn't find the relevant info via the link, but have established that the cd changer is model no MC3010, and the part number is A203 820 90 89.

I've managed to get one on Ebay for £139.98, so next thing is to see if there are any leads in situ.

If not, I'll have to begin the hunt for them online.
