dont nudge the gear lever down by accident whilst accelerating hard... that can be scary... nearly filled my pants the other day as i had thoughts of pieces of gearbox scattering the A5..

surely that must have ended in tears?

I really thought it had when the rears locked up, amazing old beast though I had gone for neutral when the engine cut out and got reverse, not sure why it let me, but it marched on afterwards.
The profit I made on that car bought me the 500sl which kinda got me into Mercs
