I have a 2008 CL500 that has developed faults with the automatic and courtesy functions on the drivers door. I have keyless go.
Problem 1) when you grab the door handle the door opens, but the window does not drop. The door mirror also doesn't fold out.
Problem 2) sometimes the door mirror adjustment selector button illuminates without being pressed.
Problem 3) sometimes the ventilated seat button illuminates without being pressed.
Problem 4) when you stop after travel, pulling the interior door handle does not drop the window, retract the seat and lift the steering wheel.
Fiddling with the windows and door and opening and closing the door usually brings it back, so I think this is a sensor or other electrical connection fault.
It was bought from a main dealer and I've only had it two weeks. They have offered to look at is again after I raisd it with them. They initially said it may be a fault with the window stop sensor, but there's more going on than that.
Any thoughts? Cheers.
