Not much detail given re the spec, but its a lot of car for small money.It has been advertised for around a month already to my knowledge, and now reduced by nearly £2k.

Dipping my toes in the water, I have emailed the owner for full details, so I'll see what transpires.

Given Piston Heads is FREE I'm amazed at the poor pictures and little description that people give?

Whats wrong with some interior shots, engine, dash etc??

I like these CL's but would fear that a 7K one with 100K miles could be a money pit, new price was 70K + I guess and even at an Indy parts will nit be cheap.

They have an awful lot of electrical gizmos.

I guess if you buy it eyes wide open bank some cash for repairs then happy days.

The ad makes me think he has already had offers below his new price...when it was listed at the old one...

Offer £4.5k depending on condition and history...

why do people bother trying to sell cars if they can not be ****d to spend an hour making people want the car with a well written advert selling the cars virtues and with 5 or 6 decent pics

What is a 'time waster' or 'tyre kicker'? Someone who enquires about his car, smells a rat (lemon) and runs a mile! Fantastic value for money, great car to stick in the garage and use as a weekend car, preferbaly with plenty of time/money to bring it back to its former glory.

He will clearly take less, he is a deperate seller. I wonder how much he has scrimped and saved on the servicing?

i spent 2 hours on my listing for the twin turbo and then put it on here for that extra bit of help (which i got lots of extra help with)

i took 30 odd photos and then picked the best 12 and then put them in order as if you were walking around the car

my next car will be a cl55 amg or a cl500 and although ive got £15 burning a hole in my matress i know that if i wait 6-12 months i might be able to pick a stunning one up for a bargain price from a seller who loves the car and is a genuine seller and not some person who has the **** with you as they have had to lower their asking price

shame as the car looks very nice

As expected.....................no reply.
I see the same ad is in Auto-Trader with the same bolshie comments.
I think he must be a trader as he has an overpriced (IMO) Toyota Supra TwinTurbo up for sale as well.

Ah well, I'll keep trawling the ads until something else catches my eye.
