CLK Cab kick plates

Hi Guys

The kickplates that say Mercedes Benz as you open the door are a little bit bubbley. Can you buy replacements and if so are they easy to fit. Also any links to price and where. Thaks in advance.

Hi Mate it is a 2005 car and the month is Aug i beleive.

They should be fairly easy to remove/reinstall. They are kept in place by what appears to be 4 push-in type of clips. Have a look at the document in the link below. Although it describes the removal of lower mouldings, it also mentions and pictures the kick plates. You will most probably need a plastic wedge tool. I bought a set of 5 made by Signet off ebay (S46715 SIGNET PLASTIC PRY AND WEDGE SET 5PC on eBay (end time 18-Oct-10 16:26:30 BST)) and they are perfect for this kind of jobs.

For prices I would call a dealer as I doubt you will find them kick plates [in good condition] elsewhere.
