Mine has auto up/down but then it is a 2000 facelift model. Flyer, from you sig picture, your's looks like a facelift model, did you mod the mirrors to make it look like a facelift model?

No, it's definitely pre-facelift (just!). The only outside mods are the wheels; not touched the mirrors - would like to though
Sorry that that doesn't work guys - felt sure it would . This method worked for Gizmo on his pre-facelift CLK. Maybe it is different for the Cab as SilverSaloon says; can't think why it would be though.
Sensors! The glass can be pushed hard into the door frame or roof on a car with a fixed roof and a sensor can detect this, I bet it doesn't work on a cabrio.
IIRC the sensor is a thermal sensor used to detect the motor overheating when it's pushing against the window-stop!
Yep, i have told this to soo many people last summer! You cannot have one touch up on clk cabrio... If you want to modify it, its possible, but at your own risk!
i can say 100% that they do i have it and have always had it so there is no question to ask if they have it or not. the remarks about when opening and closing the door the windows do go up and down in turn but if the sensor is faulty it won't as i have had mine replaced at the stealer under warranty but i know a few others with the above car (all cabs) and they have it to just to confuse issue's the back has auto down but manual up does that make sence
