hi guys

does anybody know if the wheel bolts (inc. locking) from a w208 CLK will fit the w202 c-class? I bought a set of alloys from a CLK sport (et37 front and et 30 rear) and he gave me the full set of bolts too inc lockers. Any good?

cheers guys

Yes - they will fit fine - the AMG Wheels that I got came with the standard alloy wheel bolts for 202 / 208 / 210 too I guess.

Just check the length of the thread against what you have already if you are in any way unsure.

thanks sym!

ps. those AMG's look mint - how about just having your existing springs compressed a little? Most spring engineering firms will do it for about £20 for the set. We had them done on an E30 325i a while ago and they were fine.

Interesting thought !

Would filling the car with heavy weights and leaving it for a couple of days have the same effect, do you think ;) :D

Wheel bolts are not specific to cars, rather the wheels.
Apart from W140's and 638's all the mercedes passenger vehicles use the same size thread.

The length of the bolt differs from wheel to wheel, but thankfully over the last few years MB have finally stuck to just one or two different sizes!

hi again...

so would say the bolts from et37 15" c-class wheels would fit et37 16" avantgarde wheels? I would have thought the offset being the same the bolts would be the same length?

Yes, they will be the same thread and shaft, but the head may be a longer head on the c-class bolts. The avantgarde wheels, need quite shallow heads, but this is only visual appearance...
