CLK63-Only 143 made?

I have been looking for a Silver CLK63 Coupe for a while, without much success. Then last night one appears on Autotrader, 2 owners, mileage at 72k and asking almost £25k.

What the dealer claims is that only 143 of the Coupe models where made and sold in the UK, many more Cab's (and my efforts to find a Coupe car support this). Just wondered if anyone else could verfiy this claim or comment otherwise?

It might just mean I stop looking for a Unicorn and start thinking about a C63!

There are 79 clk63 and 24 black series. Hth

So just 108 in total including the Black series. May I ask how you know and where the figures come? I am staggered that so few of these cars exist, but based on my efforts to find one I can very well believe it.

I've always been interested to find out how many CLK63 Coupes were made..

The only information I could find was from a list of AMG production numbers (by typing in "AMG production numbers" into google).

But I couldn't work out whether the numbers on this list were just relating to the US market.

I know that the US weren't offered the CLK63 Coupe, but only the Black Series, but the list only lists CLK63 Coupes and didn't specify Black Series.

It doesn't specify how many of those 79 are "Coupe" or "convertible" though
