Hi Guys,
My Command unit has frozen and just plays a radio station and none of buttons work. Have been advised by Command repair dealer to disconnect battery to reset it before bringing it in as that solves lots of the issues. I disconnected the one in the boot, and Command still in the same state. However, I noticed the memory settings etc had been retained so wondered if another power supply is in the car. Have searched online and am confused as to whether there is another battery in the engine compartment. I removed the air filter which is where it was indicated it might be and there isn't an obvious battery there - just a sliver square box with AMG written on it. I wondered if anyone knew the score?
(Car is a 2008 CLS AMG with M156)
