I never really got the CLS until I saw a black one parked in a pub in Ombersley last Friday. It looked great and super smooth.

Lee, I'm confused I thought you got rid of your perfect S211 in order to get that RR? Now your getting something else, I like your style and respect to you.

The seller of the RR Sport was a friend of the family who'd ordered a brand new one and offered me his old one very cheap, the problem is that LR have put back his delivery date three times which is no good to me so it's on the back burner until it's a definite and as everyone on here knows; I'm not known for my patience...

Bit gutted about selling the E55 and the resulting debacle tbh but these things happen.

Some of those offers would have been accepted. I think you tend to get a lot of WOFT on forums.

Haha, yeah, I've had more than my fair share too, ask every question under the sun then come up with some lame pussy excuse that the wife has vetoed it...

I'd have definitely had your pals CLS though, if I say I'll do something or commit to buy then that's what I'll do and I've bought from forum members all over the country without quibble.

I do like the look of that one, I think those that are for sale realistically around the £10k will sell without too much trouble, almost seems to be a benchmark for them now.

I ideally want a black CLS with cream/biscuit-type colour leather (I do forget the official name of it) but the best bit about silver is that it only needs cleaning 20% of what black does.

On the first page you say "I would have had a CLS a long time ago but I need 5 seats".
What am I missing????????
I will admit I went to the pub after work but am still fairly compos mentis I think...

I changed tack; I'm now keeping the S204 for the family duties and buying a CLS 55 for fun. I had intended to buy an ML63 for £16-20k but canned the idea.
