Hi any one had a problem with leaking radiator into gearbox or failure torque conventer?what is a symptoms?

It was a common problem on cars fitted with Valeo radiators between (I think) 2000 and 2004. Cars with Behr radiators were unaffected.

The main symptom is a slight vibration at around 1500 rpm when under a light load. If the problem is ignored it won't go away, it will eventually lead to the need for a new gearbox and torque converter.

There is loads of information about it on the intertubes, and MB dealers can perform a definitive test for the contamination.

Search for "Valeo radiator problem"

I got problem wih my one whe you going 30mil i have around 1500rpm and jumping from 1500 to 1650 rpm and you can slightly feel it.doesnt ahake a car adn doing only till warm up til 70 degres i have car only from 3 week.i had a error of crankshaft level sensor i was thinking that gone be that but is not.i have apoitment with independent mercedes specialis for a star diagnosis and check for a leaking colant.... when is drive smoth and nice ....

Fingers crossed for you, but it does sound like you have glycol contamination. The Merc indy should confirm this. Did you buy from a MB dealer or did the seller give you a warranty?

To have the sensor fail and now this is more than bad luck. Sounds like you have been sold a dud. If you bought this from a dealer, I'd take it back and request a refund. It's not fit for purpose.

I had the same problem last year. Firstly get it glyco tested,I took mine to mercedes costing £80. Thankfully no contamination.
Then I took it to a gearbox specialist who rebuilt the TC and valve body, flushed the gearbox, replaced a solenoid and various seals...Problem solved. Wasn't cheap though.
Good luck

Is that was happening only when was cold or all the time.i went to one garage when they doing only automatic gearbox and they told me thats no yransmision problem ?they told me to check it air mass sensor

Mainly did it when cold but was slight when warm.

As mentioned above, there is a fair amount of info on this on the forum and reputable sponsors here who should be able to point you in the right direction

Do you know good garage with can sort it out....?i see you are from surrey...

Ollie at PCS is well thought of on this forum. Based on the south coast...Hampshire I think.
Where are you based? Someone here might be able to point you somewhere more local

London .wimbledon

PCS is at Horndean, Hampshire, just off the A3 heading to Portsmouth. I only use them, excellent service.
