I am in the process of buying a 2007,320cdi for use in Kyrgyzstan where winter temperatures can be as low as -30degC. I use Mobil1 0w-40w in my current Eclass. The 320CDI I am buying has a DPF,so I need 299.31 or 229.51 & the Mobil1 ESP oil only seems available as 5w-30w.
Any ideas if the 5w would be Ok for the cold winters here or would I be better looking for a different brand 0w oil.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your reply. If there is ESP, 0w Mobil 1 oil in Finland it must be specific to your country. I have searched the Mobil 1 information & cant find anything on 0w ESP.
I did however find a temperature range chart & it indicated 5w oil was good for temps down to -30degC. So it should be OK. I would prefer 0w but if its not available then I have no choice. Castrol did a 0w but it seems to be discontinued. The car will be kept in a heated garage at nights so hopefully it should be OK.

Your right mersum1es, thats the stuff I need. If I cant find it in Uk I can contact your supplier & ask if they deliver to UK. Actually 1ltr bottles would suit me better, I will be carrying it in my suitcase back to Kyrgyzstan & if I have any leaks I would rather a 1ltr leaked than 4 ltrs. Thanks for your help.
