Cold starting

Posted earlier about my cold starting problems, fitted 6 new glow plugs, yesterday had new relay fitted, this morning same problem, light comes on for 10 seconds, start engine, cranks for several seconds catches, then rough running for a few seconds then perfect, light comes on again for approx 30 seconds, then goes out. Any ideas?

Check the engine earth strap and its connections

If engine has poor earth, would engine not crank?

I was thinking of disconnecting battery for a few seconds to see if this would reset everything, what do you think?

I would be looking at a possible fueling issue like injectors. Needs to be plugged in firstly.

Where did the glow plug relay come from??? new or used.

The new MB glow plug relays are modified and look very different to the old type.

Then why did they not finish the job correctly ?

Contacted them and am going in on Monday for them to run diagnostics check.
