COMAND Diagnostic Question

I seem to recall that you didn't see the Star, with 'Mercedes-Benz' underneath it before the upgrade but couldn't be sure.

Anyway this screen, (TV/Mute+1+3/Infos/Processors) shows the MY2001 update applied.

Which bit of that screen tells you the update has been applied?
The date should be 5th June 2002 ?

I'm no expert but Software Version V5.13 would seem to be older than Version 7.18

Yeah I'd agree.
So how much do Stealers charge for the update? Or should I order an update CD?
Or can the upgrade be downloaded off tinterweb?

It should be available from your MB dealer for about £10. Part number 220 589 22 00

So just to confirm with everyone:

just because (on boot up) my comand has the mercedes logo with the words "Mercedes Benz" underneath and DX disc does NOT necessarily mean it has the MY2001 update, right?
