I have the c220 125th edition 61 plate
My problem is my maps needs updating as it’s still stuck in 2011 and the m1 A195 around here have changed a lot lately. Looked on eBay etc even rang Mercedes local to me but no one interested as it’s old. Even sent email to main Mercedes dealer asking for help. How what and where if anyone can help. (Be gentle)
Thanks in advance 🤗

Don't bother with the built in satnav and use Waze on your smartphone. Waze is always up to date, has far more functionality and is free.

You can buy it here:

The latest version is 2019/2020 v19.0.

Edition 125 cars were equipped with COMAND Online NTG4.5 as standard.

The maps data itself is a free download from the Mercedes Benz website, and you can download it to your PC. When installing the maps to the car (using USB flash drive or SD-Card), you will be prompted for a PIN code, which needs to be purchased from the link above, or from any MB dealer. The PIN code is unique to your car's VIN.

The maps data upload to the car takes between one to two hours to complete, and can be done while the car is being driven normally (though will obviously not be able to use the satnav function while the maps are uploading). If your journey is shorted than that, the upload will be suspended when the car is parkedat end if your journey, and automatically resumed when you next drive the car, until the update is complete.

Alternatively, you have access to a trickle charger, you can upload the maps update while the car is parked.

Also, your 2011 car can connect to the Internet via your phone, using Bluetooth Tethering, but:

- Only Android phones are supported (I.e. Apple iPhones are not supported)

- MB have severed all ties with Google back in 2015, meaning that the only three MB Apps that still work are Weather, Internet Radio, and Online Search. Some find these apps useful, but many don't... personally, I use mostly the Internet Radio.

- Live Traffic Data is unfortunately not supported for your 2011 car. Your car will have only the free TMC traffic service, which covers some main routes but isn't as good as Live Traffic. Which is why Waze and Google Maps or Apple Maps offer a better navigation solution. But then, not everyone like to have a phone stuck on their windscreen or dashboard.

- comandonline.co.uk can also install in your car a device that adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This will allow you to have your phone's Waze or Google Maps etc displayed on the car's satnav screen, and controlled via the car's existing round controller knob and the steering wheel buttons.

I have the 125th edition so has the bigger sat nav screen don’t really want to phone sitting on the dash. But thanks for the help 👍

The price in your link is expensive, MB quoted me £99.
