Good Morning,

I'm looking to seek some advise concerning retro fitting Command to a pre face-lift CLS 320 CDI.

I currently have a W203 C200 Kompressor and have been offered the CLS at trade value by a very good friend, I have command in the C and wouldn't fancy owning the CLS without it.

Is it a big job which is going to be expensive, I see that there is a company called Braybooks who are offing the upgrade for £1800.00 which is expensive.

Any advise would be of great help,

Thanks
Nick

What does the CLS have standard Audio 20 single cd? If so the cheaper, easier and much better upgrade is to install the newer harddisk based Comand NTG2.5 which was fitted to MY09 CLS.

You would need:
NTG2.5 unit for E / CLS + gps antenna: ntg2.5 cls | eBay#

NTG2.5 retrofit kit, 3rd or 4th item on this link depending on if the car has phone pre-wire or not: W211 last E, W219 CLS | COMAND Retrofit parts | Mercedes Retrofits | Comand Online Ltd

STAR coding to enable navigation on the cluster and phone if no pre-wire

Forum members Alfie and Richard from Comand.co.uk in Lightwater, Surrey could do the install and coding.
