Connecting iPod to Audio 20

Hi guys,

I'm going to take delivery of a new C Class Coupe in the next 2 weeks. As standard it comes with the Audio 20 with 6CD changer.

From googling around it appears that the when you have the version with the 6CD changer the media interface comes standard to hook up an iPod.

The brochure doesn't mention this however and only mentions the media interface under the COMAND option.

Could anyone please confirm if I could hook up an iPod? It would be most appreciated.

I think it depends on what socket you have in the console between the seats. Is it a USB port or a multi-hole socket?

Thanks Giantvanman, that's helped clear it up. It looks like from the face of it that the car won't have the multi-hole socket and just a USB port.

I won't know for sure until I get it, but I think it's just the COMANDs that are coming with this now.

I thought it would be the case. My son uses the USB as a charging point and streams music from his iPhone whilst simultaneously linking bluetooth phone and it seems to work well. All track info is displayed and full control via the steering wheel so no real issues.
