So over the past year or perhaps even longer, i have been pondering on what to do to the e class.. design wise..

the standard car lacked flare and emotion.. well i think so!!

The final update was completed recently, and i thought its time to share the complete update.. this has very much been in the planning since 2011 and phased in over time..

so .. what do y'all think..

am i finished.. dont know, but for 2012, yes i think so... :)

Im sure there will be some negative feedback (as per usual) but what ever it is.. lets have your thoughts on it..

I have kept the number plate off the front on the advice of a few members i have been PMing with over a long period of time, and I still dont know what do do with it.. Vinyl stick on off-centre or fit into place as per original... for now, its just going to continue as is until i am pulled over lol... the sharp look is nice.

Anyway, enjoy the pics.

Id like to say well done, but I dont know what you have exactly done - any pictures before hand?

Bodykit?

Car looks great. :thumb:

From what I can see, he has fitted an E63 front bumper and exhausts and some new wheels.

As you know, I like it! Good look! :)

How about doing what some of the Yanks do:

You can fit the numberplate to the toweye adaptor, thus never needing to drill holes into your bumper.

I like what you have done with her, just not liking the wheels, a nice set of E63 AMG wheels or Brabus wheels would look great.

I especially love the straight DRL's compared to the what I call "puma" logo ones.

I like the no front plate design, but when the inevitable does happen, then a regularly positioned plate would look best. All the off centre stuff looks a bit naff and detracts from what is an elegant car.

Hi nice car needs lowering and not to keen on the alloys.

Car looks great, except for the wheels.

I thought you had sprayed it Delhi Racing Gold. ;)

Looks nice, I like the wheels but they need some Merc centre caps to finish them off.

With that clean look I would fit a CL style grille and flat bonnet badge, think that would finish it off a treat.

Wheels look ok but they look like they wont take normal centre caps... so look odd.

Also the number plate will ruin that front bumper..

Lovely car overall.

I really like it, quite biased toward the stick on plate myself :D

I ran with no plates but had it in the window for a month whilst I sourced the vinyl plates, never got pulled over having driven past no end of police.

The DRLs look like they don't decrease in intensity whilst the full lights are on?

hey guys . morning..

so number plate still a mystery for me.. dunno.. off centre is not so bad, i have seen it off centre and its interesting, but i think it needs to be an illegal 50mm height for letter, not the standard to make it look good.
the alloys at present do have centre caps.. they are black carbon fiber ones.. i also have mercedes centre caps, just have not had a chance to fit them

wheels ofcourse will bring different opinions.. i looked at these wheels for 2 months over and over.

my objective was to have a concave style.

However, with a high offset on the w212.. this limited the market, these wheels are very smart in my opinion and the more i look at it, the better they get.. hope you all feel the same.. i was skeptical at first, and really thought they were too wrong to be on the car.. but i can say i am most happy with them and think they suit it to the tee.

in terms of suspension, yes would like it lowered - i have been given advice for airmatic reduction via star... so will look into this.

the LED drls look so much better than the hockey sticks, so its a more stylish outfit on the 212 in my opinion..

thanks for looking... and thank you all for the advise to date on this

Have you added Distronic to your E?

Are your updates:

E63 Front Bumper with associated parts...DRLs
New Wheels
Exhaust Conversion
E63 Rear Bumper insert
Brembo brakes?
Distronic?

Anything I have missed?

May I ask, who did the paintwork...it looks good in the pictures.

I like threads like this :)

It's beige, which isn't a good starting point.

Not sure I completely understand this obsession with having no front number plate.

It something I'm increasingly seeing, generally on barried bmw 3 series coupes around this way rather than anything decent.

The car in question then usually has the number plate sat on the dashboard, which just looks awful.

looks really nice:thumb:
