Corrosion

Hi John.
I am not 100% sure what they mean.
I don't think MB know themselves either.
All I know is, I have 1 very rust car I am very quickly getting fed up with

Hi Grav,
I fully understand. You have what should be the flagshhip model of the E-class range. Instead you have something that sounds an embarrassment. I do hope they resolve this issue.

How bad do you think you particular car is compared to all the other 210 owners that have had rust problems?

Have you posted any pictures.

I genuinely feel for you and wish you luck.

Just had another thought. The editor of Mercedes Enthusiast has posted on this forum asking for favours (pictures of members cars) Any chance of them doing an article on your car and its problems?

Kind regards,
John

Doubt if thet would want to show that in their mag mate
Will do some pics tomorrow.
As some will tell you, my motor is reguarly polished too, so it's not lack of care that caused it.

correct. ie. they will repair it once only and they will not pay you anything else (eg. loss of earnings, dimunition in the value of the car, loss of use of the car or any other kind of loss)

It details the work being carried out *****free of charge for labour and materials, to the exclusion of any further claims.******

Now this was explained to me as being a legal mumbo jumbo for stopping me claiming anything else for that particular repair?

Hi,
Just got off the phone and you are spot on, we can get the car repaired whenever it meets the laid down condtions of the warranty. If the left front wing needs replacing five times during the thirty years then so be it. :)

Bye for now,
John
