I saw them on ebay a while ago, they are probably imported to Europe first then from there go to the USA so buying from the USA seems stupid. If you see any in RHD then I could be interested, the other thing is that they look like the pre-facelift headlamps, and for those without bumper fogs - where are the foglights?

Are they E marked? If they are US then shirley they're only suitable for LHD cars?

I don't like them really, but I have come to the conclusion I have the styling taste of an old man!

Dont call me Shirley....... ;)

I'd buy them in a shot if my local Barry Discount car place stocked them.

Makes the car look newer

look really fresh i think.
Yes, pity they'd not be street legal.

I wonder if the Japanese have some similar items? They have lots of lighting upgrades, they love MBs and all their cars are RHD...

I'm still surprised that no third party manufacturer has come up with projector style headlights for the W202 as opposed to crystal clear reflector type headlights as I think these would sell like the proverbial hot cakes.

Interesting point Shude... the headlight design changed significantly on the major facelift with the main beam becoming a separate bulb (in the section next to the front grille) and the fogs living next to dipped beam as opposed to the pre-facelift which had the dual filament bulb for dipped and main beam and the fog light living in the separate section immediately next to the front grille.

I wonder if those headlamps have plastic or glass lenses, my guessing is plastic. If they ARE glass then I'd be interested to find out how to get replacement lenses.

Had mine fitted yesterday by the hardworking blokes down at Adobe garages.

What do you think?

Very nice indeed...

I really like those! Same colour car and model as me so I know just what they would look like. Where did you source yours from and how much?

Problem you will have now is that you will come out to your car from it being parked up and the front of it will be surrounded by women try to put their "lippy" on!

hehe :D

Very nice though!

*EDIT* Doh! Just understood the "Adobe Garages" remark.

Crystals Fitted!

Hi Dudes, I have a set of these on my 180 sport estate with matching indicators and they look the boll**ks, the lenses are plastic and the fogs are built in same as orig and they also connect to the auto leveling thingy! Just need some good uprated bulbs for the xtra look.I would put a pic on here but have not got a clue how to! boycie :bannana:

email them to me & I will host them for you later on?
