Currently got a c200 amg on demo - some questions if I may

I am not sure how it works but we had a golf for 3 years and paid £270 a mouth from day one to the last day , when ordering the car they show how much you save and how much you pay in tax and give you a total cost

no idea then., :dk:

Anyway... going back to this demo car i have.... i like it :thumb:,

How did you manage to get a demo for that long?

Its via the lease company, all demos tend to be 2 or 3 days.

They had planned a Friday to Monday demo, but called me mid Weds afternoon saying really sorry but we cant drop the car off on friday, is it possible we can drop it off around 10am on Thursday?

Car was driven 150 miles to me from Banbury/Oxford area.

that a great idea by the lease company ... I just blogged the local Mercedes dealer I was going to buy from them and got a C220 estate for the day , shame there is no C350es for demo yet

I say via the lease company, but really all the lease company do is pass your details to a MB Corporate team who arranged it for you and all communication is via them.

The waiting list just for a demo with MB was a while though for the W205. Lucky I had already been in a new c class before ordering.

Its the best way to sell a car in my opinion, give someone a car for a few days... fall in "love" and part with cash.

In regards to the C350e demo... been advised theres a big list of names on the waiting list.

What about colour ?

black

I do love metallic black had 3 so far but just got feed up trying to keep them clean going for that brilliant blue on the C350e now ...looks a very nice car I wonder how it will compare to the C350e tho , The C350e is going to be quite quick , I can't wait bet you can't either :thumb:

It does look nice, however with 5k miles and full of swirl marks from what i would assume a lack of care in the cleaning department, (more than likely the car gets cleaned 3/4 times per week when sent to new customers) the black does look tricky to keep looking nice.

The plastic black gloss trim in the cabin has got a lot of marks on which is a concern early in its life too.

To say its got 184, it feels to pull well enough, so one would think the c350e is going to be rapid!

Sept cant come quick enough!

I did not like the black gloss so going for wood but don't for get its a demo car there not the best keeped cars , have you got the gloss black in yours then ? If so I am sure you would keep it in better Condition

Right...

after a long weekend in the W205 C200 i know i have made the right choice with the car, its been a pleasure to drive and really enjoyed it. Its taken a bit of getting used to a 4 cylinder tone to a 6, but its been enjoyable.

The car as a whole drive great and the onboard tech is good too.

More so now, looking forward to my C350e arriving, its amazing what a few days do in a demo car from just a few miles.
