DA polisher questions

Morning all-Just got my DAS6 with Menz pads and polishes. I seem to remember reading that the abrasive particles break down as you machine polish. Question is: If I use a cutting compound/polish do I then need to follow that stage with a finer polish/compound right the way through to the final finish polish or will the coarse compound see the job through to the end as the particles break down?

Ideally you should refine your finish if you compound. However, Menzerna have polishes that appear good in all combinations.

It is suggested you should start with the least aggressive polish and pad in order to guage how to best correct the paint. I am aware Mercedes paint is very tough and make sure you work the polish long enough.

Ask the company you purchased the polishing kit from for their advice, they should have a lot of knowledge.
