A couple of weeks ago I drove out of a carpark and clattered over one of those devices designed to stop you driving in the exit. The devices caught my front mud flaps and made a din. Shortly after this incident I decided to remove the front mud flaps as I have to use that car park. The drivers side one left tiny marks which I polished out but the passenger side left a 1 inch scratch which went right through the paint and left an ugly graze as well.
Today I decided to fix these marks. I cleaned out the graze and crazed with T Cut scratch repair and then I touch in the scratch with a touch up paint. I let it dry and then I have been using T cut until I flattened the raised dry paint. The result is OK but the scratch is now matt though. What do we think? Can't decide if it should be smart repaired.
Sorry about the photos. The mark is visible in the 3rd and 4th photos.
