Damn adverts

Don't know whether i'm the only one having problems with adverts popping up all over the place but its only happening on this site. They are "Ad Choices" and beginning to get on my nerves as every new page i open in the forums comes with a barrage of adverts. Am running Windows XP Pro

This has been discussed elsewhere on the forum recently.

Use Adblock plus combined with firefox and they magically disappear.

If they're pop up adverts, it sounds like your computer may be infected with something rather than the normal forum banner adverts...

Just one more question. How do i turn on my pop up blocker on Google Chrome. Cheers, tony.

wemorgen pointed you at the best tool you should use to clear any nasties.

Chrome? Oh you mean the browser that spies on you, sells your information and bombards you with targetted advertising?

There are alternate browsers.

Click the customise button under the X button top right of your Chrome browser then click the following;
-setting
-show advanced settings… at bottom of page
-under privacy heading click Content settings button
-scroll down to Pop-ups - Allow all sites to show pop-ups- or Do not allow any site to show pop-ups (recommended)

If you put this… chrome://settings/content … in your Chrome address bar and hit enter you might? get there quicker.
