Darwin Insurance

You have to read about it on the details, it will be further in the details look for terms and conditions, it will be there, some say if you want to pick you garage the excess will be more or you don't get a curtesy car, a new screen for instance if you want to put into MB the excess will be about £300 or autoglass about £60.
I don't know Darwin.

Well with the new rules coming in about car insurance and people who have been with a company not being offered the best price as new business ,I just renewed my insurance and found that the comapny I used for the last two years Shielas wheels, upped my quote and so I looked around went on the go compare site and saved £130 plus I got a £20 Halfords voucher,so for me nothing much has changed, you need to shop around every year,I am with Aviva now.

Some insurance companies will only fix your cars with second hand parts, i believe hastings and esure are 2 that do

Just done a quote with Darwin and they came out at £317 versus Saga who I am currently with at £185.

They don't like us oldies who drive BMW's.

Just signed up to Darwin Insurance after seeing this thread so thanks OP 👍 I personally had never heard of them before but after doing my research and finding out that they are part of the Direct Line group it was a no brainier especially when they were quoting around £300 less compared to the next best quote on the comparison sites etc and they were even a £1k cheaper than my Esure renewal quote

So far the whole process with Darwin has been absolutely fine everything available when logging into my online account and easy process to send proof of no claims bonus etc so far recommended
