Decided against the Maserati in the end...

...and bought this:

I just thought the Quattroporte was a bit too brash for my liking and it will certainly please all of my chums in the Lancashire Area Save The Dolphins & Pandas Association.

Who are you, and what have you done with the real Lee? :D

This is the real deal; I've always been an Eco-fascist underneath my petrol-headed ways, I'm finally out of the closet and it feels soooo good!

Lee. If you can prove that this is your car I'll post a pic of me running naked down Carlisle high street.

Ant.

Ah but this is the new Prius-R with a twin-turbo V8 and 4WD ;)

The power in these things is amazing, I smoked a Fiesta 1.1 Popular Plus from the lights earlier and due to the silence of the car, managed to mow down a couple of old grannies taking to long to cross the road as well!

Indeed it has, I'm test driving a Jaguar XFR this morning; 5 litres of supercharged V8 bliss!

Good choice...I did fancy and XFR but after having the XJ I couldn't get over the interior in the end. The XJ is so much nicer inside that the XF. I half fancy an XJ SuperSport which is the same engine and could be had for not much more cash.

I think the XFR's are great value and lots around with a wide range of prices from cheaper earlier models all the way through.

A friend has an XFR, he came in it on my car trip to Burgundy, me in my then BMW 2002tii and my late friend Richard in his Bristol drophead. Despite having built in satnav (we had maps) he was always last, he was incapable of operating a petrol pump and he put his hip out in it.

He is 70, Richard was 52 and I was 45.

Are you taking up Golf Grandad?
