Decision on Mrs F's car and advice needed

The problem with the understeer is that the weight-balance is all wrong in the car and the front just doesnt go where you point it.

Far too much weight over the back wheels.

Sell it to a Porsche 911 driver as a 'practice' car..

Only ever drove a 1990 911 and it was awful I thought, very hard to have any confidence in as it was very hard to know where the limit was.

Worst experience of a proper car (rwd) in the wet was a 500bhp 3-door cossie a mate had, it was virtually undrivable to be honest as the cams made it run so lumpy and to pull away required a fair bit of right foot but as soon as you did that in the wet, the traction would be gone.
