diesel purge for modern engines

Hi,

a question for you, after going thru a few options to find a solution to clean injectors in 2006 e280 cdi, including usual options like diesel fuel additives wynns etc, i have come to the conclusion that using a producct called liqui moli diesel purge would be sufficient, because this provides direct cleaning action to injectors for powerful cleaning rather than adding additives to fuel,

my question is that is this safe to use on this cdi engine, because i have come to see elswhere, that they cannot be used on cdi engines. can you please advise.

just used some Liqui Moly in my 300TD (OM603 ), it does say " Used for all diesel engines " in the tech sheet

so presumably fine for CDI

Certainly seemed to help, the fluid went from clear to pitch black with bits in, so it must have cleaned something!
Lost a couple of glow-plugs on my mine, hard starts, lots of smoke, rough running etc, so did a purge after replacing the plugs. Car seems happier, less smoke, smoother at idle - but I still need a long run to see how much better!

balge - Thanks for your advice, yes it does say it on the bottle, I have contacted Liqui Moly just to confirm.
