Different tires or different thread left on the same axle

ooooh not good i used a set of those once on the back of my previous 208... the guy said all the ST drivers use them when i asked if they were any good.. i needed cheap tyres at the time.. never again do i buy cheap ones.. part worn premium tyres maybe but they were scary, i think i tried to burn them as fast as possible so i could replace IIRC lol.

youre good to get rid!
so whats teh score now mate? you got the michelins on?

The 2 MICHELINS on the rear= the new + part worn-- same tread pattern but also same rubber mix which I suspect would be different from the Hankook with the Michelin being an all weather tyre. Better also for the winter- get saving for another new Michelin

oops a bit late with this one.:o

You want Kumhos mate. :thumb: Still value for money although prices are creeping up. :(

I had a bad read about Khumos XS, bad in the wet...
Thank you but no thank you...
I would go again without hesitation for the Falken.

im looking fwd to trying the 452's actually, see how they compare to my current Avons and previous conti's etc. i do hear really good things about them.

I don't know about the others but for the price the 452s were at the time it was worth it.
But maybe they are not as good as the alot more expensive ones?
I think camskill were selling them at the same price as the deadly SAVA... on 18" wheels.

nice, when i was looking there was no price difference between the 452's and the 912's (like fiver more) and the 452's are supposed to be the much better tyre.. tbh yes the conti SC3 are awesome tyres, they stop and grip like a demon.. but they wore out just as fast as any other and retail at £800+ for my setup. (FR225/40/18 & 255/35/18 on rear) where as my Avon ZZ3's at 400 and something a set always give me grip also so are they worth nearly twice as much? when a set of tyres only lasts me a year (10k) then im not spending that kind of money again on conti's as good as they are, il stick with premium part worns or Avon/Falken money me thinks.
