Out of general interest how can I watch digital TV on my Command Unit which I believe can only receive analog. Sat nav and phone fully working do I need to buy any adaptors or anything, not that it is 100% important, just wanted to know if it is possible.

If you already have tv then the analogue tuner has 2 aux inputs, you can connect a digital tv tuner to one of the aux inputs on the analogue tuner.

Great, where do I get a digital tuner from and who will fit it for me, or need I ask, looks like another trip. LOL

If your car has the analogue only TV (i.e option 860) and has the MOST system (which the CLS does) then the analogue only tuner can be switched to a Digital and Analogue tuner (option 863). New the tuners are very expensive. They are available on eBay though quite often. Its not a straight swop though, there are different pinouts.

The digital tuners for E/CLS/etc are A211 827 18 62, A211 870 37 89, A211 870 43 90, A211 870 47 90, A211 870 73 90. (That was the order they were released in), get the newest you can)

Be very careful not to end up with an analogue only one !!!

If looking on eBay remember the one for NTG2.5 will not work in NTG1 (your car) or NTG2 cars.

Use Search4CarParts to help you search eBay properly.

Mac,in case your not aware, the dvd & tv facility on command will only play while the car is stationary>

Thanks for the reply chaps. In my last three cars all with TV I must have watched approximately 10min TV in the last 6 years. I think I have answered my own reason for not going digital as I will never watch it but its nice to know the answer as someone else may want to do it.
