Quick question:-

My car has auto-dimming interior mirror and drivers side exterior mirror, should the passenger exterior mirror autodim too??? if so, I think mine isnt working!

Thanks in advance

From the manufacturer only the inside and driver's side autodim. I managed to get an autodim mirror glass from germany for my passenger side and when fitted it, noticed that my original frame didn't have the autodim wires for it.

I had a spare drivers uk mirror with autodim frame so swapped the wirring harness only, reversing the folding motor cable and although everything else works, it does not seem to dim automatically. I need to look at it again when I get the chance. Definately a nice feature.

Hi,
I have been meaning to do exactly the same too my C43, You would have too run two cables from you passenger side mirror plug too the overhead light unit, and loop off of your existing drivers side mirror glass cabling, if you want to do this i can give you the number for the loom on the drivers side which could be used for the passenger side, though additional cabling would have to be run from the door separation point to the mirror plug in the door.

In my LHD w209 it was just a swap of the exterior mirror! Wiring was already there!
Got the mirror from uk for 70 pounds!
So both exterior mirrors are capable of auto dimming right now!
Def a nice feature and should be standard!
