Dodgy Ebayers!

I'm confused.

Why did you bid £800 if the real value is around £310?

Read the thread Neil, if it wasn't bidded up by a shill bid then it would've left me and the bidder beneath me.... His max bid was £302, the only other bids were mine and the fake bid.

Does that clear things up?

Sorry, still not really clear.

What was your maximum bid?

Why you put in a max bid of £800 if you thought they were worth £310.

That's not what I'm saying Neil, I'm saying if it wasn't increased fraudulently then they would've finished at £310 or thereabouts.... I was willing to go to a grand but the fact the guy has been dishonest, I'd rather not trade with him. I'm sorry if this isn't clear enough for you......

So David was mislead into bidding up to £800 by the sellers "friend", who was obviously bidding "up" the item without any intention of actually buying them.

Had the seller's "friend" not been involved, then Davids highest bid would have been enough to secure the alloys at £310.....

Maketh sense to me

I would say "Yes I need them!" by PM.

And then mercilessly feck the idiot about as it is now nothing to do with eBay :)
