dodgy electric window

Got a bit of a problem with my front nearside electric window.
Press button and it won't go down, took it to the stealership and they said it was fixed, (oh don't they lie), anyway turns out the guy just hit the door panel and it worked but soon after it packed in again. All other windows work fine.
Have tried hitting again but obviously I have not got the knack(that's why the dealers can charge so much, it is the intensive training they do to get the "whack"right.

Sounds like a lose wire to the switch. Door card off to investigate, easy job.

Hitting the motor tend to jolt them into life. I suspect a faulty motor. Take the door panel off and check that you are getting a voltage to the motor too.
