Dont sell your car like this ! ! ! ! !

tee hee - shops are excluded as they pay rates allowing them to trade and they are usually the first to complain when a street trader sets up outside.

Most councils only allow them to "extend" their shops out onto the highway with "A" boards and racks (like shoe shops) by a metre, after that it becomes obstruction.

Sticking election posters everywhere is Bill Posting and is a whole raft of different laws which I know nothing about - I'll ask the font of all street trading laws if I see her tomorrow :)

......so there is probably nothing to stop you having an ad in the back window of your car for a magazine that costs £10k with a free car :)

Worthy of a banana :bannana:

I saw a similar ploy when I was trying to buy a fancy watch on eBay. The replica sellers would do this to get round eBay counterfiet policy. It failed, but in the real world its worth a bash....

And why is is discriminitive to other faiths? They can park there on a Sunday too! Durrr....

Quote from comments: "Doesn't that still discriminate against atheists? Why should god bothering get special treatment over, say, shopping?"

It is slowly becoming a problem over here too, people are parking in grass banks and on the edge of roads with for sale signs on them, if they dont get done for illegal street trading, surely they can get done for illegal parking.

"scratches head"

Of course, this new stupidity means that every sign-written van is also breaking the law.

Including all the Police cars - they all carry a slogan - that's advertising.

Welcome to the Asylum.
