I think this is weird.
W211 with keyless / easy entry. No soft-close facility. Twice in two days i have remotely opened the boot when the rest of the car is still locked. Then closed boot using the power closing button, and gone toward the drivers door - which then opens! I don't mean just unlocks but actually pops open. It doesn't happen every time - I've tried to replicate it - and hasn't happened before in c4 years of ownership.
Has anyone experienced this? Is it a feature that's meant to be there, or is it more likely a problem with the door? It's actually pretty cool when it does happen
The keyless door sensor hasn't worked for a while. I've checked the data card and can't see it's a separate feature (although it does ambiguously say 'Technical Modifications).
Any advice appreciated!
