Come on folks help me out here I'm sure some of you have experienced these rattles and have the solution to it....
1. Metallic sounding rattle - I've now worked out it's coming from my driver's window in the top right corner (right next to my ear). It's like the window is very slightly loose. When I press my finger against it it goes away. Can I do anything myself or is it a trip to the stealer ? This looseness may explain the wind whistle at 70mph. It's very annoying.
2. This one is wierd and is very noticeable...At low speed when revving I sometimes I hear a very noticeable sound that seems to be coming from the front trim. It sounds like a grass strimmer ! It only happens at certain speeds or revs (say between 20mph and 25mph) and then disappears. I am absolutely positive it is something on the trim vibrating at a certain frequency. But can I find it ? No luck so far. I've fiddled about with every button, COMAND, vents, speaker grill at front to no avail.
