E200 2001 Chrome Wheel Arches

I have the above car and last week spotted another Merc with chrome wheel arches. They looked good from a distance. Just wondering what peoples view of them are? Dont want to cheapen the look of the car in any way.

Also seen on E bay some chrome wing mirrors.

My car (Singapore import) has chrome trim on the front and rear lights and it looks very well but would be conscious not to overdo it.

Interested to hear your views?

Every time I see these I think rusty wheelarches! Usually there to do a cover-up job.

Please don't buy chrome things from ebay and fit them to your car, it makes God cry.
