Found a small pool of gearbox oil under car - had a look and appears to be coming from fitting where electrical connections enter box. There is a nylon fitting in box which you twist and this ejects the cable connector which has an O-ring on it. Cant determine if leak is between nylon ring and box or where cable connector enters nylon ring - hope that makes sense.
Is there a common failure point on these. O ring looks handy, what is involved in removing the nylon twist type fitting from box.
You need a special dip stick to check level in these boxes. Is oil filled through the dip stick - cant see any other point.
No issues with gear selection.
