E320 CDi - advice sought!

I'm after a bit of advice folks.

I have been contemplating an E Class for some time now, and the following vehicle has come up on eBay....

However, I'm a bit concerned about the wheels. I don't remember ever seeing these old style MB wheels on the current E Class . However, before I go into email mode with the seller, I'd just like someone to clarify. In fact, if my suspicions are correct, i.e. they were never fitted as I think, then I might just leave well alone.

They certainly don't seem to suit it .

My dAd has a set of these on his e270cdi, they suit his car.

Standard factory wheels for the Elegance BUT do not do the car any justice IMO.

i really like white cars

But , its a fact they sell for less and are harder to shift on. Make sure the price you pay reflects this in the market value. But looks really good in white

Thanks to everyone that has responded.

It's now clear that the wheels were a standard fit. Obviously I have had my eyes shut previously, although I hadn't really been looking for an E Class until the last week or so.

I think white looks a lot better on the 'E' than it does on the 'C'. My intention was to offer my services for weddings etc, exactly what the seller has suggested. I take the point about lower resale values though.

Anyway, a single bid has just been made that has pushed the price up by £5k , it's getting very close to a dealer price now.

Oh well, I'll keep looking.
