Hi all after finding that my last set of tyres havent llasted long and worn severely on the insides (Front)
I asked my tyre supplier to do the tracking however he said that due to my car having self levelling rear suspension he would only advise a dealer do it.
My question is ...is that the case?? are they so different or difficult to do?
The car is a 2001 e320 CDI estate avatgarde with mercedes 17" wheels 235/45/17 pirelli tyres. I have owned it for 3 years it has 170,000 miles and just had a full gearbox rebuild so need to keep it a while longer yet!!! lol.
Any advice on where to take the car near Leyland in Lancs would be appreciated.

I had the same problem on a w211 and the local tyre place who had one of those expensive tracking devices sorted it out fine. unfortumately I'm miles away but i'm sure you'll find one up there

well after talking to a couple of local places all of them reckon it is a Mercedes only job?????
WTF? the stealership has had enough of my hard earned wonga!!
Any one have any suggestions please?
