e320 v reg 55mpg

Just a quickie I went on a long journey the other day Ipswich to Ramsgate , and my average mpg according to the computer was 55mpg this was at a steady 65mph most of the journey , im fairly happy with that what do you think ? e320 diesel

That's very good, never got more than 45 mpg from mine, even when dawdling

I agree...i would fall sleep driving at that speed for that long

my computer is fairly accurate 35 40mpg to a tank of normal driving..for a full tank

the most i saw in my e320 06 was 38mpg..

you must have a very light foot - that mpg is friction defying for A roads, unless you had a following gale, even with an I6

I drove to Ramsgate yesterday, but I only managed 9.8 MPG. The new dual carriageway at Manston is to blame. I get awful fuel economy on that road!

I believe you!!!.I have a E270CDI and I regularly get in the low 50mpg if i am careful which for a car of this size is amazing
