I was going to try this. MKB Soundtube it is in stainless steel and it replaces the centre box. http://www.mkb-power.de Part No 49002100060 Euro 350 + vat and postage Euro 40, i was told it sounds great.

I couldn't find any pictures or description of what this is ... but if it's a straight through replacement for the centre box it sounds pretty expensive?! I only paid £129 for LongLife to fabricate and fit a s/s pipe replacement for the centre silencer on my R129.

It was Hayward and Scott who quoted me £3300 for a full oen off fitted system with the Ceramic coating. Would of been a work of art though.

Yes it does sound expensive, although it does what it says on the tin SOUNDTUBE. When i was enquiring about it they didn't have any pictures. I have not heard what it sounds like but have been told by a C43 owner it's very good.He lives some where way past Watford

Don't know about the C43, but the AMG rear box on my R129 limits the noise coming out of the tailpipes pretty effectively, even with straight pipes from the cats.

I suspect a different rear box would be needed for a really noticeable change? You're welcome to listen to my setup any time BTW (since I'm just down the road).
