Now the weather seems to have turned better I thought it was time to give the car its spring spruce up after the winter months.

It took me from 10 30am until just gone 5pm to complete and I still have the inside to do tomorrow.

Here's the nerdy bit.

1 Washed with Meguiars Gold Class shampoo and mitt
2 Rinsed with low pressure jet washer.
3 Clayed with Meguiars Clay Mitt and Meguiars detailer
4 Washed again as step 1
5 Rinsed again as step 2
6 Polished with AutoGlym SRP
7 Glass polished with Simonize Glass cleaner
8 Whole car waxed with Farclea Liquid Wax
7 Car sealed with Auto Glym Gloss paint sealant
8 All wheels removed, washed dried and sealed with step 7 sealant.
9 Hubs and calipers deep cleaned with soapy water and rinsed.
10 Wheels replaced and torqed correctly.
11 Tyres blacked with Meguiars purple tyre gel.

Photo 1 not very level:fail

very nice... good job...... Kerbs aren't your best friend are they!>?

^ To my eternal shame, I have kerbed 3/4 wheels. I can't even blame the missus as she won't drive it. On the list for a refurb later this year.

A very handsome car, and a good job well done :thumb:

Don't worry I'm exactly the same. I just seem to be a kerb magnet!

Car looking good, need to spring clean mine. Looking at getting the calipers done this year as well, just can't decide if I should go silver or black.

Looks very shiny mate.

Have you added that rear diffuser? Looks alright, id like one for my C55, but stuff off ebay and from china, always worries me.

Yeah its a E63 W211 diffuser I bought from a member on here. Fits fine and I reckon its the same as the Taiwan/Chinese ones on eBay.

Very nice, looks great. :)

It would take me a month to do all that. Your energy levels are far higher than mine. :o

Looks lovely. :thumb:

I can't really recall kerbing any wheels until my late 40's, and then for some reason I started doing it.
Unlucky with the worst one at night in a pile of leaves in the gutter and the kerb jutting out an inch or so - Ouch!
As I was drawing to a halt, I did consciously ask myself "How close do you want to get to the kerb before something happens?"

I've been extra careful lately now that I've replaced a couple of Michelin PS3's.

Car looks awesome!

Good job although I think you're doubling up the effort with the wax and sealant - I thought it was either but not both.

No, layering in this way is pretty common place.

Lovely. Is that a 270 Cdi with a kit on it ?
